Error message on RSA Identity Management and Governance workflow: requires at least one valid outbound transition path but no transitions were selected upon node completion

Issue
When a workflow is executed, it may stop at a node with transitions and display an error message similar to the following:
 
Thu Feb 02 20:11:48 PST 2017 Error - Node 'My Workflow Node' with Node ID 123456:WPDS in Job 98765:WPDS requires at least one valid outbound transition path but no transitions were selected upon node completion. The node completion code was 0.

The node has more than one outbound transition path connected to the node and the node has generated a condition that should follow one of them.
Cause
This can occur if there is no default transition selected on the workflow.
Resolution
To make sure at least one of the transitions is a default, do the following:
  1. Choose the Reviews, Requests or Rules tab, as appropriate, and choose Workflows.

  2. Click on the workflow you need to edit. For the Reviews tab, you will need to pick the appropriate sub-tab first.

  1. Click the Edit Workflow button to open the workflow in the editor.

  1. Right-click on the transition you want to be the default and click Properties.

  2. In the window that opens, check the option for Select this button on the workflow form by default and click OK.

  1. Click OK to save your changes.
Note: In some instances, you may need to remove the transition from your workflow and recreate it from scratch.
