Event Message Components for Cloud Access Service
Event Message Components for Cloud Access Service
Cloud Access Service (CAS) generates messages that are triggered by user and system events. You can view these events in the User Event Monitor and System Event Monitor in the Cloud Administration Console.
An event message has the following components.
| Message Component | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Event Code | Unique number that identifies the event. |
| Level | Indicates if the event is a notification or error. |
| Category | Classifies the event by action or component. For example, authentication or identity router. |
| Description | Describes the specific event. For example, Approve authentication succeeded. |
CAS supports the following event levels.
| Event Level | Description |
|---|---|
| Notice | Indicates a successful operation or process. For example, a notice message indicates success for authenticator registration or authentication method verification. |
| Error | Indicates an error or failure. For example, an error message is generated when authenticator registration or authentication fails. |
