How to modify security questions for the RSA Authentication Manager Self-Service Console

Issue
Your organization may have a list of questions you are required to use in order to stay compliant with your policies and wish to customize the questions presented on the Security Console.  You are receiving the following error upon import of the XML file. 

Import failed. The security questions XML file you provided is invalid. For guidelines on format and validation refer the online help. Correct the issue and upload the security questions file again.


The extras zip file contains a SecurityQuestionsSample.xml in the Security Questions Sample directory.
 
Cause
There are specific XML requirements when editing the file that holds the security questions.  A common issue when copying and pasting from the sample file to your own custom file is that the quotation marks become the Windows slanted quotes.  These quotes cause the XML validation to fail.

UTF-8 and en_US are two fields encapsulated with quotes that may need to be modified when copying and pasting.

Below is an example of slanted quotes that will fail.  These can be corrected in a text editor such as Notepad.
 
Resolution
  1. Correct each slanted quote in a text editor and save the file.
  2. Upload the file again.
