Issue
Resolution
- Reset to default column settings
- Set current columns as default for all users
Here is how each option works in more detail:
- Reset to default column settings
When this option is checked, the currently displayed table view is restored to the last known default. In addition, the list of available columns to display disappears.
- Set current columns as default for all users
When this option is checked, the currently displayed table view is saved for all users and becomes the new default.
- Both options
When both options are checked, the currently displayed table view is restored to the original factory-set (OOTB) default settings.
The following example uses the users table (Users > Users) to illustrate the way these different options work:
- The OOTB users table has four columns:
- Name
- Department
- Title
- Supervisor
- Add two more columns (Email and User ID):
- Make this table view the default users table view for all users by checking Set current columns as default for all users.
This is now the default users table view stored in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.
- Remove the Title column.
- Restore the table view to the last known default by clicking Reset to default column settings.
- Note the restored table view is the last known default view as specified in steps 2 and 3 (includes both the Email and User ID columns.)
- Restore the table to the factory-set (OOTB) default settings by checking both options:
- Note the original factory-set (OOTB) users table view has been restored (the original four columns are now displayed):
