Issue
Is there a way to remove a patch or hotfix from RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle?

NOTE: Before applying an RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle patch or hotfix, make sure you have a good backup of the database and any customizations. For more information on backing up the database, see RSA Knowledge Base Article 000038174 -- How to perform a database backup (export) and a database restore (import) in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.

Resolution
There is no supported or approved method to remove a patch or hotfix from RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle. In this situation a re-installation is required.

High-level steps to restore a system to a lower version or patch level:

  1. Uninstall RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.
  2. Install the base version of RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.
  3. Install the last known acceptable RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle patch.
  4. Restore the last known good backup of the database that was made prior to the upgrade.
  5. Let the migration of the database complete.
  6. Re-apply any customizations using customizeACM.sh. For more information on the customizeACM.sh utility, see RSA Knowledge Base Article 000038700 -- How to customize the application using customizeACM.sh in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.
