Is there a way to remove a patch or hotfix from RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle?

Issue
NOTE: Before applying an RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle patch or hotfix, make sure you have a good backup of the database and any customizations. Resolution
There is no supported or approved method to remove a patch or hotfix from RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle. In this situation a re-installation is required.
High-level steps to restore a system to a lower version or patch level:
- Uninstall RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.
- Install the base version of RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.
- Install the last known acceptable RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle patch.
- Restore the last known good backup of the database that was made prior to the upgrade.
- Let the migration of the database complete.
