Issue

Upon creating a RESTful Web Service Connector for an endpoint (such as, Service Now) using Basic authentication type, the Test Connector Capability 'Update Account' fails with a 401 error. In Postman the same test works, returning a 200 OK success message.

Cause
For Authentication Type Basic, the Authorization header is not being set resulting in an unauthorized error.
Resolution
This is resolved in the following version/patch:
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 8.0 P02
