RSA MFA Agent 2.0 for macOS adds support for passwordless online and offline authentication capabilities as well as an improved Agent UI and emergency access options.

The RSA MFA Agent 2.0 for macOS is available for download from RSA Community here. RSA recommends upgrading to version 2.0 of the MFA Agent at the earliest opportunity.

This release introduces the following key features:

Passwordless Authentication

• Online: QR Code, Mobile Passkey (requires RSA Authenticator v4.6 for iOS or Android), Device Biometrics, and Emergency Access Code
• Offline: Authenticate OTP and Emergency Access Code

Emergency Access

• Reserve Password or Emergency Access Code
