Issue
Promotion for maintenance fails at Applying data updates to this instance step:

In the advanced status view you will see: "Failed to empty sweep files cleanup staging area"
Cause
Some sweep files on the replica cannot be deleted during the promotion process which is needed to complete this step.

Resolution
1. Open an SSH terminal with the replica you need to be promoted

2. Navigate to p2r_sweeps_to_apply  progress directory: 
                       cd /opt/rsa/am/replication/p2r_sweeps_to_apply

3. Remove the sweep files in that directory.

4. Try the promotion again
