SageHR- SAML SSO Agent Configuration - SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate SecurID Access with SageHR using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service(CAS) as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to SageHR.

Procedure

  1. Sign into the SecurID Access Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

  2. Click on Create From Template found in he upper right of the page then select SAML Direct or Seach for CakeHR and click on the +Add.

  3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. SageHR Then click on Next Step.

  4. On Connection Profile page

    1. Click on Import Metadata to add the SageHR metadata file exported below.

    2. In Connection URL field, verify the default setting

    3. Choose IDP-Initiated or SP-Initiated

    4. Scroll down to SAML Identity Provider (Issuer) section.

    5. Note the Identity Provider URL and Issuer Entity ID. These values are automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of SageHR

    6. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download

    7. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle

    8. Select Choose File and upload the cert.pem from the generated certificate bundle. This is the signing Certificate.

    9. Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion

    10. Scroll down to Service Provider section

    11. Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS), enter the callback/reply URL from the SageHR configuration below. For example, https://rsasecurity.cake.hr/services/saml/consume.

    12. Enter the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) enter the Entity ID from the SageHR configuration below. For example, sage.hr.

    13. Scroll down to User Identity section

    14. Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail

    15. Click Next Step

  5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step

  6. On Portal Display Page

    1. Select Display in Portal

    2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish

    3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

    4. Click on Save and Finish.

  7. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure SageHR

Perform these steps to integrate SageHR with SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.

Procedure

  1. Sign into SageHR goto User Icon > Settings.

  2. Browse to Integrations > SAML SSO.

  3. Click on Download Metdata.xml

  4. Note the callback/reply URL and the Entity ID they will be used in the SecurID configuration above.

  5. Enter for the Authentication URL the value of the Identity Provider URL from the SecurID configuration above. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=8P76lu4gl91u.

  6. Enter for the Key Fingerprint of the Signing Certificate configured for SecurID above. There are many ways to obtain the fingerprint. One way is to use https://www.samltool.com/fingerprint.php for the X.509 certificate choose sha1 algorithm and click on Calculate Fingerprint.

  7. Select Enable Signle Sign On.

  8. Click on Save.
