SecurID Announces the Release of SecurID SDK 3.1 for iOS and Android with Transaction Signing
Originally Published: 2021-07-06
You can build your own custom authenticator app using the new SecurID SDK 3.1 for iOS and Android with Transaction Signing. Offer your users a way to authenticate with convenient Multifactor (MFA) options and SecurID software token, while seamlessly maintaining a similar look and feel across your existing applications for a better overall user experience. Version 3.1 includes all of the features provided in 2.x and 3.0.
Two types of authentication are available for custom apps:
- With cloud-based MFA functionality, you can incorporate One-Time Password (OTP) authentication and challenge methods such as push notification or a biometric to confirm a user’s identity. These methods are available to users who are in identity sources that are configured for the Cloud Authentication Service.
- SecurID software token employs a one-time, randomly generated tokencode generated on a software token that resides on a user’s mobile device. The tokencode or passcode (PIN + tokencode) is verified by the on-premise SecurID Authentication Manager server.
You can also build Transaction Signing into your apps to protect the integrity of business transactions.
