Smartsheet - SAML My Page SSO Configuration - RSA Ready Implementation Guide
This section describes how to integrate Smartsheet with RSA Cloud Authentication Service using My Page SSO.
Configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service
Perform these steps to configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service using My Page SSO.
Procedure
- Sign into RSA Cloud Administration Console and enable My Page SSO by accessing Access > My Page > Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Navigate to Applications > Application Catalog.
- Search for Smartsheet and click Add to add the connector.
- On the Basic Information page, choose Cloud.
- In the Name field, enter a name for the application and click Next Step.
- In the Connection Profile section, choose IDP-initiated.
- Fill the Service Provider section with details in the following format:
- ACS URL: https://sso.smartsheet.com/SAML2/POST.
- Service Provider Entity ID: https://sso.smartsheet.com/saml.
- In the SAML Response Protection section, do one of the following:
- To sign the SAML assertion only, select IdP signs assertion within response.
- To sign the whole SAML response, select IdP signs entire SAML response.
- Select Generate Cert Bundle feature or use your own certificates.
- Click Show Advanced Configuration.
- Under the User Identity section, select the Property type and Property value.
- Click Next Step.
- Choose your desired Access Policy for this application.
- On the Portal Display page, select Display in Portal.
- Click Publish Changes.
- Click Next Step and click Save and Finish.
- Click Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO.
Configure Smartsheet
Perform these steps to configure Smartsheet.
Procedure
- Sign into Smartsheet admin console - https://app.smartsheet.com/b/home?mt=57&de=4VPv0jw8zC6Q__h2J5h4VOyAvrwLal-T2Op79az53LA.
- Click Account > Plan & Billing Info. The Account Administration page appears.
- In the left pane, click Security Controls.
- Under Authentication, click Edit.
- Select SAML and click edit configuration.
- Click Add IdP.
- Add IdP Nickname and paste RSA's metadata in the IdP Metadata field.
- Click Save.
- On the SAML Administration form, click edit and activate the IdP.
- In the Account menu, click User Management.
- Click Add User.
- Enter Email, First Name, and Last Name.
- Click OK.
The configuration is complete.
