Issue
  • Unable to run the FIM backupConfig.cmd command.
  • "Export Failed" when attempting to run backupConfig.cmd
  • When running backupConfig.cmd the following exception is generated:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.jdo.FetchPlan.getGroups()Ljava/util/Collection;
Cause
This error indicates that there is an incompatibility between the classes in the fim.jar file and the jdo libraries.
Resolution
Ensure that the FIM hotfix has been applied correctly.  Ensure that the entire contents of the lib directory in rsa-fim-config.zip is copied over to the rsa-fim-config/lib directory.  
Notes
Do not archive any backup copies of jar files in the lib directory. If you need to archive the jars, archive them outside of the path.
