Issue
Example:
- Navigate to Request - Workflow - Request tab and select the "Supervisor Approval Always" workflow.
- Edit the “Supervisor approval always” workflow and select the “supervisor approval” node.
- On the right hand side select the Due Date and configure the due date to call the “Email reminder” escalation workflow.
- Select any of the approval phase(in this example we are picking Business Approval) and change the behavior so that it calls an approval workflow (Asset Business owner approval workflow).
- Configure the due date in the asset business owner approval workflow to call the same email reminder escalation workflow.
- Navigate to Request - Workflow - Escalation tab and select the Email Reminder workflow.
- Click on the "Work Reminder" node and select the Email option from the right hand side.
- Click on edit message and change the mode to source edit. Confirm that the escalation workflow is including the variable ${jobUserData_WorkItemURL}
- Create a change request for a user and wait for the escalation to trigger.
- Click on the Email log and open the email content. Right click on the page and select "View Page Source" or press "F12" key and we can see that the first escalation email is not resolving a value for the workflow variable ${jobUserData_WorkItemURL}.
- Complete the approval node and now wait for the 2nd escalation to trigger.
- Perform the same as mentioned in Step 10. The second escalation email will resolve a value for the variable ${jobUserData_WorkItemURL}.
