What are ACE/Server site associations used for?

This allows administrators to use the same group and client names for different sites.
For example, there might be a group called "customer support" in both an East Coast and a West Coast site. This makes it easier managing groups because similar groups can have the same names by being under different sites. This also allows for easier reporting, as reports can be run by site.
