No key renewing function available for non-web server certificates in RSA Certificate Manager
On a Sun Solaris installation, re-issuing and renewing keys for non-web server system certificates like the LogServer or Xudad itself is not available. The product documentation states that you should put certs other than web certs into extended branch. When this is done, you can re-issue but not generate new keys.
Resolution
Copy the non-web server certificates into the /Web/ssl/certs/ and /ssl/private/ directories. You may also need to change the permissions on the files. Once re-issued with new keys, copy the new certificates and keys to their previous location.
