Removing ACE/Agent 4.4 on Windows 2000 and installing ACE/Agent 1.1 for Windows 2000 RRAS

Authentications do not work

Cause
Resolution
1) Uninstall ACE/Agent 4.4 from the Windows 2000 system
- use Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add-Remove Programs to perform this task
2) remove three files from the WINNT/SYSTEM32 directory
- aceclnt.dll
- sdmsg.dll
- sdsrvmsg.dll
3) reboot your Windows 2000 system
4) Install ACE/Agent 1.1
- double click on the setup.exe program of the ACE/Agent 1.1
- for administration information on this agent, please refer to the ACE/Agent 1.1 for Windows 2000 Administration Guide (aa_win2000_11_admin.pdf)
5) After the ACE/Agent 1.1 install, please reboot your system. If you do not reboot your system you may experience node verification messages in the ACE/Server log (node secret mismatches between agent and ACE/Server).
