Patch 29
Issue
Cannot access Security Console after patch installation failed and restored to earlier version.
Security Console page does not load completely and appears to be in a loop.
Self- Service console page gives error :" Contact Your Administrator License violation, the Provisioning feature is not licensed."
Authentication Manager 7.1 SP4 is installed 7.1 SP4 on Windows 2003 with patch 28. Server was rebooted prior to installing the patch and verified that the replication status shows as complete.
Patch 29 installation stuck at 99% for a long time and at the end failed and rolled back to previous version.
Customer server has license for provisioning and prior to patch installation everything was working.
Resolution

1. Copy the am-app folder from working Replica server to Primary server. Also, copy the following files from working replica to not working Primary server.

?<RSA_HOME>\server\servers\<hostname>_server\stage\console-ims\console-ims.war?

?<RSA_HOME>\server\servers\<hostname>_server\stage\console-selfservice\console-selfservice.war?

?<RSA_HOME>\server\servers\<hostname>_server\stage\console-troubleshoot\console-troubleshoot.war?

?<RSA_HOME>\server\servers\<hostname>_server\stage\console-ucm\console-ucm.war?

?<RSA_HOME>\components\am\wars\console-am.war?

?<RSA_HOME>\components\ims\wars\console-ims.war?

?<RSA_HOME>\components\ucm\console-selfservice.war?

?<RSA_HOME>\components\ucm\console-troubleshoot.war?

?<RSA_HOME>\components\ucm\console-ucm.war?

2. Delete temp and cache folder from:

?<RSA_HOME>\server\servers\<hostname>_server\tmp\?

?<RSA_HOME>\server\servers\AdminServer\cache\?

?<RSA_HOME>\server\servers\AdminServer\tmp\?

Workaround
It was observed that on Primary RSA_HOME>\server\servers\<hostname>_server\stage\am-app folder was missing after patch 29 failure followed by the restoration.
