This issue can most likely happen on the enVision appliances where the shortcut for "Data Sources (32-bit)" is not available readily under "Administrative tools" left over with "Data Sources" or "Data Sources (64-bit)".

As the NIC ODBC service is a 32-bit one, it is compulsory to have the DSN created using the 'Data Sources (32-bit)". But in cases where this shortcut is unavailable, there are chances User may consider "Data Sources" as 32-bit one and configuring the DSN through it.

This results in the above ODBC error.
