Archer API and Single Sign-On (SSO)...is it even possible?
Often times, customers/partners ask how to use SSO to connect to the Archer API using Windows Authentication or other SSO method. Unfortunately, the Archer API doesn't have this capability, but there is a possible workaround using "/default.aspx" and cookies. Below are some PowerShell examples.
An extra bonus with this method is the ability to parse/scrape the HTML returned in the web request and get lots of other info. The following example parses the ArcherApp.globals object from the HTML > creates a PSCustomObject for user > and make REST API call to get Archer version.
