A few weeks ago, I introduced you to our new use case, RSA Archer Regulatory Content Analysis. Utilizing machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP), Regulatory Content Analysis helps you understand the impact of new regulations by analyzing how your organization has demonstrated compliance with previous regulations. The Regulatory Content Analysis algorithm provides regulatory compliance analysis and suggests control matches for the new regulation. It also shows analogous requirements from existing regulations to help analysts understand the similarities.
At this point, you are probably saying, “Yeah, yeah, Corey -- we know all of that already. Why are you writing about it again?” Well, I am so glad you asked. Just a few short weeks after launch, we have an update for Regulatory Content Analysis! Our engineering team is leveraging DevOps strategy and cloud native tools/technologies/practices to increase both the quality and velocity of new feature delivery. This has enabled us to release an update, including a couple of features that were discussed during our lab session at RSA Charge! One of the changes you will notice is that with this SAAS-DevOps model we won’t refer to versions or release numbers as we do more continuous development but rather will mention the timing of updates as new enhancements are added.
Key features in the November update to Regulatory Content Analysis include:
- Highlighting of similar phrases in existing and new regulations
- Improved search capabilities
- Improved user interface
- Additional on-screen guidance and error messages to improve the user experience
- User workflow enhancements with project lifecycle and bulk operations
- Updated documentation
The RSA Archer Regulatory Content Analysis use case can be utilized with the RSA Archer Controls Assurance Program Management use case to demonstrate the effectiveness of the organizational controls you have in place. This combination delivers a complete solution for managing your compliance to the broad and changing landscape of regulations applicable to your organization.
