Corey Brown and I presented at Charge 2016 on three ways to leverage the v6.1 REST API to enhance your data feed experience. In the presentation, we demoed example code for creating a custom object to execute a data feed on-demand and setting up a file share watchdog service to eliminate the need for minutely or high frequency data feed executions. We also showed how to leverage API to develop a data feed dashboard, capable of providing insight into your data feed ecosystem (status, execution history, execution and impact statistics, and Gantt Charting to identify overlaps and convoy relationships).
NOTE: This code makes use of the data feed methods within the REST API that were introduced in the v5.5 SP4 and later releases.
These code examples are provided as proof of concept and idea provoking examples only. RSA Archer does not currently actively develop, support, customize, or enhance these items. Any code put in play in any of your environments is at your own risk.
