This presentation shares an overview of the new Single Sign-on (SSO) Login via Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) feature for Archer Mobile.
The presentation was given at the February 5, 2021 Free Friday Tech Huddle by Ankur Gupta. Please review the video demonstration for additional information from this Free Friday Tech Huddle.
Questions & Answers:
Q: Is the reviewer showing the Archer ID of the user rather than the name?
A: It will show the name of the user only, not ID.
Q: We have been using 6.9 SP1 Patch 2 in our test environment. If I get "An unexpected error occurred. Contact your administrator", what does that mean? Since our URL is only available within VPN, is there anything needs to be done?
A: If your mobile internet doesn't allow access to that URL, we will not be able to hit Archer APIs to get the details. Please refer the implementation guide for more details.
Q: We are hosted by Archer and thus, using Federated SSO. Are we able to use SSO for mobile?
A: Yes. As soon as hosted moves to 6.9.1.2, you can start using the mobile app for Advanced Workflow actions.
