Questions and Answers:
Q: Didn't we lose the 3d charts in 6.7?
A: There have been a lot of changes in charting with release 6.7 The charting capabilities have been replaced with a much more robust reporting engine. A part of those changes include flattening the look and feel of the charts. For a full review of the charting changes, I recommend you take a look at Anand Desphande's blog, What's New With RSA Charts. I also recommend you review our FFTH replay on charting and visualizations and check out the accompanying slides.
Q: If I am still using the PS Use Case 6.3 and did not install PS Use Case 6.4 SP1, do I need to do that first or does this update include those updates as well? I am on core 6.6.4. I am asking about the Use Case updates not the Core updates.
A: You will need to upgrade to 6.6p2 to utilize the updated demo'ed today. When you update the use case it will take care of this.
Q: Does Archer perform the scanning or do we need to add an outside software to perform the scanning?
A: Archer is not a scanning tool. It can integrate with scanners to bring in the relevant information into Archer. You will need an outside scanner such as Tenable, Qualys or Rapid7. Those three are ones that we provide integrations with out of the box, however if you have IP360 or others you can perform the integrations yourself, through our Professional Services team, or a third party Professional Services organization.
