Hi Archer Team,
may be I have overseen it, but wasn't JRE not a mandatory requirement for the Advanced Workflow?
JRE was used for the Advanced Workflow Engine in the GRC 6.0 release, but that requirement was removed for GRC 6.1. The Advanced Workflow Engine is now using a .NET version of that technology. The Archer Product Management team has provided more information on this on the page GRC 6 Feedback and Lessons Learned.
thanks a lot. I assumed that there will be another way to realize the AWF, but I do not find a hint (except "JRE optional for caching").
Our technical team has informed me that the RSA Archer GRC 6.1 Installation And Upgrade Guide.pdf discusses installing JRE in the Pre-Install phase on page 20.
