Archer Error Log Description
Users have been experiencing with an error frequently. We've tried to investigate it through the error ID in the w3wp files, but couldn't interpreted it's meaning. The Microsoft link mentioned in this log file is also not opening.
Anybody can please throw some light on this "error description."
That's a silverlight issue. Specifically one that appears to have occurred when someone tried to access the Manage Dashboards page from Workspace 22 (Risk Management) and Dashboard 45 (MRW 1). It further appears that they were trying to add iView content to this dashboard.
Couple things to check:
1) Make sure the user has the permissions to perform these actions.
2) Have the user clear their browser AND Silverlight caches, and try again.
The business users are facing this error and they DONOT have any rights to add an iView.
However I would definitely try your 2nd option.
Note: Users are using the latest version of Silverlight.
So if it's business users that we know don't have access, I would confirm with them their click path to generate the error. Perhaps they are seeing a "Manage Dashboard" or "Add iView" link or something similar that they should not be.
Can you provide the exact versions of Silverlight and Archer that you are running? I know that earlier versions of the 5.x releases do not support later 5.x releases of Silverlight.
