Archer Indexing schedule
Does anyone know how to increase the frequescy of when Archer re-indexes the tables to include new records in the search function?
Our users are complainiung that they cannot find newly created record using searches till the next week in some instances.
My infrastructure team said they can manually kick of a re-index using the ACP but i was wondering if there was a way to schedule this nightly or would that be a big issue on performance?

The index used by users when doing searches within the platform is not the same as the indexes built within SQL. If users are having searching issues, you need to look into your Queueing Service and the files contained within your Index Path specified in the ACP.
As Scott mentioned it's the RSA Archer Queuing Service that takes care of indexing new and changed records. If you are seeing huge delays in records showing up then you have a problem with either the server running the service. The server could be under powered (see this guide on recommended server specs, ) or the same with the SQL server.
Check the queuing log to see if there's any issue reported and make sure that there is only one server running the queuing service if you have more than one application/web server.
Lastly make sure antivirus (or any other file monitoring) is not scanning the index directory. If it has a file open and the queuing service goes to update it, it will cause problems.
