Hello All, We moved Archer to new Production server today, now our Archer to Archer Datafeeds are not running. Datafeeds that run from a file on the server are running fine.
The error we are recieving is
“Specified Windows user is not authorized to make requests to the Archer API”
The user is listed as an System Administrator, and I did not change permissions for this datafeed user. We use Windows authentication, and the account is not locked out.
Does anyone have any ideas about why these datafeeds are not running?
Thank you for your help!
Thank you David, we tried this, and it's now throwing a different error: "Service Connection Failure. No data has been processed". any ideas?
Some other possible causes:
- The URL in the Data Feed doesn't match the host name used in the SSL certificate.
- The wrong SSL certificate was used in IIS Binding.
- A 3rd party product, like SiteMinder, has not excluded the /Archer/ws folder from requiring authentication.
As a test, temporarily uncheck the Require SSL option in IIS Manager to see if the Data Feed works. If it does, this points to a SSL certificate issue or the wrong Url is used in the Data Feed.
Thanks David, we were able to get this to work, the other error I was having is a mapping issue within the Datafeed itself, we removed an application that was referenced in the mapping.
