Chrome Discontinuing Silverlight Support
I just read that Silverlight won't be supported in Chrome after September 2015.
Is this true and how will it affect Archer users?
We really like the ability to drag and drop attachments into Chrome and would hate to give up this capability.
We've also settled on Chrome since it works better than IE 10 for editing formulas. We need to play with compatibility settings manually in IE to edit formulas.
I believe there is a strong push to end the reliance for SilverLight in the Archer Platform entirely. I would contact your Archer Account Manager. They have strong ties to the Archer Product Team who might have a timeline/release on removing reliance on SilverLight.
If we do not upgrade Chrome I guess we should be fine.
Also, for now the following worked for me -
1. Type chrome://flags in URL
2. Click 'Enable' under the Enable NPAPI Mac, Windows
3. Restart the browser. All set
