Company (Leveled Application) Field ID's mismatch between different level when packaging between instances(DEV, UAT & PROD)
Please describe the issue with as much detail as possible including specific error messages:
I upgraded both my UAT, DEV and PROD environments to the new 6.9 SP2 version, however I have the following issues which prevents me from implementing new changes. I did however, create new UAT and PROD instances.
We used the company application to create 4 levels namely:
- Level 1- Group Operating Company
- Level 2- Operating Company
- Level 3 - Divisions
- Level 4 - Departments
However the field ID's between my DEV instance and the New Instances (UAT and DEV) are conflicting with the wrong level field ID's:
DEV instance Field IDs:
Level 1: 4A54F032-325E-4988-8621-2CB7B49D8432
Level 2: D965AC6E-C9C2-4912-8AAF-246A1CA202A0
Level 4: E7015288-A2A6-4369-A2A5-66D277C4CB1A
New instance UAT and PROD (Fresh Install) of RSA Archer field IDs:
Level 1: D965AC6E-C9C2-4912-8AAF-246A1CA202A0
Level 2: FAE8A213-8360-4278-9FAA-DD253019709B
Level 3: 88483F21-3B63-43CC-8BF4-38D35E1FB033
Because within my DEV instance, the field ID of Level 2 is matching the new instances (UAT & PROD) version Level 1 field ID, when trying to package my Company application, it is incorrectly maps DEV's Level 2 to UAT's & PROD's Level 1.
This is causing some major issues since I will not be able to map correctly.
Is there any solutions for this issue?
Hi @GertvanderMerwe ,
I'm checking into this thread and found your question here. I think that this thread would get more answers and response over in the Archer Discussions area, so I will move it over there.
