Create a new copy of a record when the existing record is closed
Is there a way to set up a record to automatically make a copy of an existing record when that record is closed? I have an ODA for required legal filings. Each record represents a required filing. For example, record 1 is an annual filing that is due March 1, 2015. When the person has completed the filing, sets the status to close and saves the form is there a way to automatically create a new record with the next annual due date (March 1, 2016)?
This can be achieved via Archer-to-Archer data feed. For example, whenever a record will be in Closed status, the data feed will fire and will create a new record in the same application with the exact contents. But only you've to check that how you want to handle the Record ID w.r.t uniqueness.

We do this using data feed. One of the fields, for us in an admin section, will need to be the next due date. Set this as required or calculated, the data feed then uses this to fill in due date for the new record.
