Free up disk space automatically on Web server ?
I noticed that Archer logs keep adding up on some Archer instances. In some cases, the OS is running out of disk space.
Is there a way to configure Archer to do a log rotation or to delete old logs (let's say, anything older that 3 weeks, for example) automatically ?
Patrick, there's nothing native in Archer to do log clean-up. Something you can suggest as an https://community.rsa.com/community/products/archer-grc/ideas
Other customers usually have some type of tool to do log clean-up being there are other various applications (non-Archer) that have the same issue.
When clearing older logs, is it safe to do while the Archer services or running? I haven't dug deep into it, but I assume nothing in the "logging" directory set up in the ACP is being actively touched by the services when running. Therefore, it should be safe but I've found no documentation on best practices for purging older log files.
