Global Search close option?
I have been asked by several end users if this is possible and so far have not found a way to do this:
The end user opens a report (from report listing). While report is displayed, they decide to perform a global search. However, to back out from this global search, the only option is to use the browser 'back' arrow, which will get them to the main report listing, not the report they already had displayed. Is there a way to get back to the report they had displayed without having to re-select that report in the report listing? We are on version 6.3.

Ilya, thanks, but they don't want to deal with 2 open browser windows. Also, when backing out of a global search when either a dashboard, report listing, or all records are displayed, they get back to what was previously displayed.
It would be nice to see Quick Search work the way searching works here on the community. Pop-up a window with the results and if you need to fine tune you can be taken to the "full" quick search to narrow down to the application.
Ideally breadcrumbs should be used when it comes to quick search and at a bare minimum have ( x ) to close it if the user chooses not to drill into a result.
