Help Importing Data to Sub Form
Hi all,
I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how to use the Data Import Wizard to update sub-forms within one of my applications. I'm importing the data into the application, but the sub-form fields are not showing up in the mapping dropdowns. The sub-form is active and is embedded within the related application. Where am I going wrong?

I was originally going through the application itself. But now when I try going through the Administration > Integration route, I can access the Data Import Wizard for the sub form under the appropriate application.
Thanks again for all of the help. I've become so used to importing from within the applications that I totally forgot about the Administration path. You know what they say about old habits!
I think I'm good now, but will make sure to chime in again if it doesn't work for some reason. @DavidPetty for the win!

Rocky, when you do a data import into a sub-form you have to actually pick the sub-form (field) from the listing.
Then in your source data you'd have a column that would contain the tracking/content ID to the parent record the sub-form records would be long to.

Thank you David! That is what I was expecting, but the import wizard doesn't ever bring up that prompt that you show in your picture. It simply goes straight to the screen where I choose my import file and format options. At least I know I'm not going crazy!
Can you think of any reason why it wouldn't recognize that there is a sub form attached to the application?
Thanks for your help!

Anytime 😄
Are you selecting data import from the actual application in the nav bar or from Administration > Integration > Data Import?
