how to overcome limited rows on Excel
This is my first time posting and I am seeking your help regarding the below issue.
I devolped a script the reads data from DB and then generate a csv file.
The problem is the csv file generated exceeded the limited number of rows allowed at Excel.
How to overcome this issue?
Awating your feedback and support.
As IIya mentioned this is an Excel limitation issue and not Archer. Excel has a maximum number of rows which is 1,048,576 and I think that's for either 32bit or 64bit.
If you're data is coming back larger than that then you'd have to split the data out into multiple CSV files. Or dump the data to a database and connect Excel to it if you're running some data crunching or graphical reporting.
It was 64k in one of the very old Excel 32bit versions, thus, I proposed. Also, I hardly believe that someone will export more then 1kk rows to excel for some useful purpose and then feed to Archer, etc.
But should it be the case, as David said, split.
