Inactive calculated fields performance
I am struggling with an Archer solution that has many calculated fields, and the full recalculation process takes some time to be executed. I noticed that there are some inactive calculated fields that we would like to maintain, but despite of being inactives, they still appear in the application calculations list.
My question is: In spite of being inactive, if I launch a full recalculation process, are they recalculated? I can't find any information about this.

I am looking for this "official" answer to this as well, but my guess is inactive calculated fields are part of the recalculation process. One thing to consider is if you don't need the calculation or won't need to refer to it in the future, you can delete it from the application. This will help ensure better recalculation performance. It's often a good idea to package the application and store it as reference or in a separate instance if you want to refer back to Out of the Box calculations. You could also document the calculations before deleting them. The only true test would be to time how long the recalculation job runs in the Job engine with the calculations inactive and then another test when they are deleted with the same number of application records.
