I'm using LookupListValue to get the value ID of a value. The field name is Status and it has values as Active, Inactive, A, L, T and D. So when I try getting the value ID for A, I get value ID of Active. How to solve this issue? Am I doing something wrong here.
proxyField.Url = Convert.ToString(ArcherAPIUrl) + "/public/ws/field.asmx";
int existLookupVal = proxyField.LookupListValue(InterfaceUserSession, Convert.ToInt32(fieldID), (String)lookupKeyword);
Not sure if this is correct or not. Try activating the "A" value and see what you get back with your code. I have a feeling the class only brings back active values, just not certain.
I tried passing two values in a valuelist like
1) If not possible otherwise
So when I search for Other, the value ID of the first is returned. I think since it's keyword and works like string.contains("other").
Is there a very clean method of getting just other?
