Notification on Record Permission Change
We're using 5.5 SP2 HF1. We have two manual record permission fields in one of our ODAs and we'd like to send an email notification whenever users are added or removed from either of those record permission fields. We've set up both a subscription notification and on on-demand notification DDE in the ODA itself. The logic is as follows:
Record Permission 1 Changed OR Record Permission 2 Changed
Unfortunately both the subscription notification and the DDE notification are sending an email whenever a record is updated regardless of whether a user was actually added to or removed from either of the record permission fields. Is there a way to set this up so that notifications are sent only if users are actually added or removed from these record permission fields?

Unfortunately, I believe you are experiencing a bug with the platform. Record Permissions fields are calculated fields behind the scenes, and calculations and the "Changed" operator family do not always play nice together.
Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
I would say, 1st reach out support as Scott suggested initially to find out whether this is still a known defect.
As for workaround, can you use calculated field to check out RP change?
It is like Previous overall status and Current overall status, and Overall status change logic in any Standard non AWF Archer Workflow application, e.g. in BCM module or Findings, etc. Same here.
ok. for me workflow will be same and super user change the rp then email should trigger and all other fields in the applications will have same data as before.
