Notifications Triggering yet Failing to Send

We have a large number of notifications that have until last Friday morning been working almost too well... I've had very little trouble with them, however all of a sudden roughly 1/2 of the notifications fail to send (and end up on the notification failed email attempts report so we know they're firing / being triggered) and this has been going on for several days now, and we can't find a solution. Everything on the Server has been restarted and seems to be working, and I can send a test message from the control panel.
Given that the notifications are across all different applications, and were working fine for months, I'm not totally sure where to start.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Another somewhat similar question/comments are at the link below. However, none of their Notifications were firing, while a portion of yours are successful. I would follow some of the tips in the link, particularly the services restart and IIS reset.
One way to troubleshoot failed notifications is to use the https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-59972?sr=search&searchId=f481e59b-62cd-41de-b71f-afc14d2b7f61&searchIndex=1 to search the Archer JobFramework logs for the recipient's email address.
