Questionnaire Version Control
As we continue to mature our questionnaires we will need additional versions which include changes to questions adds, subtracts to the questionnaire. How are others handling this issue? What are you doing with retired questions to still be able to report on previous (retired) questions, how are you handling new question inserts? Are you doing anything to label the version of the question?
Thanks for any ideas and insight on how this is being handled

In the case of questions changing in text or slight context, are the questions of previous questionnaires frozen if a questions text is changed ? Understanding that on new questionnaires the new text will be generated but on the old will the text be retained ?
Nope, my statement was referring only towards Adding new questions. If you change the text of the already existing question, it will be changed everywhere, AFAIK.
Thanks for the reply, so best practice would be to leave questions as are on the questionnaire, add new, use show/hide rules (DDEs) to retain retired questions. New questionnaires would have hide rules for retired questions. Is this the approach? We have a large questionnaire that will have many updates yearly, I'm just looking to be sure that our group understands what that maintenance will look like.
