Reminder Notifications - Delivery Schedule Criteria
I have a notification with mulitiple criteria set for a reminder. It seems that only one of my delivery schedules will work at a time, I suppose Archer just looks as the first one that mets the criteria and then doesn't move forward to the next criteria in the trigger?
I noticed this sentence under the criteria fields, For Schedules when there are mulitple rows of criteria, RSA Archer applies only the first valid row that it finds. If no rows are valid, it does not send the notification.
For instances: I have 5 criteria to send a past due notice once at:
7 Days past the due date
14 days past the due date
21 days past the due date
28 days past the due date
and daily 30 days past the due date.
So if I am reading this sentence correctly, if there records that met criteria in the first criteria (7 Days past the due date). The notification will send but Archer will not look for any records that meet the second criteria (14 days past the due date), and so on?
Is this correct?
Ilya, I guess I was trying to avoid creating a daily ‘count down’ past due field, I wanted to only send the notification when the due date hits those marks, 7, 14, 21, etc past due. And then after 30 days it would be sent daily.
Your type of weekly, etc, notification will always have such issues with conditioning and excluding some.
I do not really think that daily will make your implementation very complex. In contradiction, it will make your solution much cleaner and less dependent. Use from here:https://community.rsa.com/thread/195128
But, if you do not want to do so, you need to create several one time notification with conditions you defined > 7 days, >14 days, etc. And one reminder with >30 days and continuing.
I have this working using a reminder notification that evaluates on days both before and after a target date with criteria the record is not closed or canceled. This is working using a free form layout with separate email notifications to the record owner. We have only one notification for the 'before' notifications and only one for the 'after' notifications.
Hope this helps.
