Reporting a Values List as a Column
For my metricsresults (KPI, KRI, etc) application, I have end users submitting a data point once every quarter. I use a calculated field field to display the quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) the record was submitted. I'd like to display the past 8 quarter results so that each metric is on a row and their corresponding values are displayed on the same row. Trying to create a self-sufficient row flat report format that doesn't require admin intervention every quarter to create a new field to indicate the quarter and add it onto the report as a field. board reporting reporting help

I've done something similar and you probably need a "reporting" record type. Then use an XSLT data feed to generate HTML into a text area field in that record type. That will give you a field that can then go into a report or whatnot. It can be quite nice with colors for thresholds or just using typefaces normal humans can't read. 🙂
I'm not sure what you mean by "row flat report format".
It's likely others have creative solutions for this objective and I'd like to see those, as well!
Can you please explain what is the "reporting" record type you mentioned?
"row flat report format" - this is an export format option in search result page like hierarcheal format, card format etc.
