Though I have followed all the steps as per "Tableau_Web_Data_Connector_RSA_Archer_6.4" guide, I am still unable to connect to RSA Archer from within Tableau, I get to see an message stating "There was an error attempting to establish a valid session", any idea if I am missing some configuration here?
RSA Archer version used in 6.4.

This should remove the case dependency on all parts of the URL. I'll get an internal defect opened up so this can be formally fixed in a patch.
That error means the connector couldn't establish a valid session via API call to the instance. Make sure that your username, instance, and password are all correct. They are case sensitive. Also make sure that the user you are trying to login with is "Active" status (not "Locked" or "Inactive").
It shouldn't, but perhaps. Can you rename the instance temporarily to test? If it is indeed the case, submit a support ticket to have a defect logged and reply here with the ARCHER-##### identifier so others can add their company to it.
We actually finished up upgrading our second dev environment yesterday which does not have a space in the instance. That one results in the same error.
Then we are back where we started, with that error means the connector couldn't establish a valid session via API call to the instance. Make sure that your username, instance, and password are all correct. They are case sensitive. Also make sure that the user you are trying to login with is "Active" status (not "Locked" or "Inactive").
Finally, there are troubleshooting steps you can take such as trying to login to the WDC via web browser instead of Tableau, raise your logging level on the script file, etc. This is all covered in the Free Friday Tech Huddle (FFTH) Webcast Replays section where the Tableau Connector was discussed.
Thanks I'll try that. I didn't realize there was a FFTH for Tableau and it didn't come up when I was searching for documentation. I have been trying via the web browser instead of Tableau
Just curious, why is the instance case sensitive?
This is the log from the browser.

Yes, For me it looked like an "Tableau Desktop" issue. Re-installing the software solved the problem Thank you all for prompt response.
