After running Windows Updates, Archer webpages display HTTP Error 503: The service is unavailable
Product Set: Archer Suite Product/Service Type: Archer (On-Premise) Version/Condition: 6.2 and Newer Platform: IIS
After running Windows Updates, the Archer application is down.
When accessing the webpage, it throws HTTP Error 503: The service is unavailable.
Application Pool keeps on stopping randomly within a specified time period even after manually starting it.
Rapid-Fail Protection disables the application pool if it fails several times within a specified time period throwing the following error in Event Viewer.
1. From each web server, open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager and select Application Pools from the left pane. 2. Select the Archer Application pool and click Advanced Settings from the right pane. 3. Scroll down to Rapid Fail Protection and change the Enabled option from True to False. 4. Click OK to apply the changes.
