The "Refresh Index In Place" causes a significant increase in disk space usage on the configured queuing service path.
Repeated use of this option causes the Queuing Service to use 10x or more of the needed disk space. In most properly sized environments, running the planned storage space for Search Indexes out of disk space.
"Refresh Index In Place" creates new index files but never cleans up the old index files.
Defect will be addressed in a later release.
