How to populate an email address in a field of the user listed in a Record Permission field in Archer

How to populate an email address in a field of a user listed in the Record Permission field.
There are a couple of ways to get this accomplished.
1. Use a calculated cross-reference to get the email address from the Contacts Application provided that the Contacts application has the users and their email addresses.
a. Create a user group field in the Contacts application or use the OOTB RSA Archer User Account field. b. Use a data feed to populate this user group field with a username like last name, first name.
1. Use a new source field to add calculation CONCATENATE([Name_Last], ", " ,[Name_First]). 2. Map this new source field to the RSA Archer User Account field or the newly created user group field in a. 3. Run the data feed. Note that this user group field has a username populated as Last Name, First Name. For Example: Smith, John. 4. You may also use the data feed(To_Update_RSA_Archer_User_account.dfx5) attached to this KB article.
c. In the Application where you want the email address to be populated, Create a calculated cross-reference field with the Field Value Contains operator. Image description d. Create a calculated text field as Email with REF([Calc xref],[Email (Business)]) as a formula. e. Create new records and see that the email address gets automatically populated.
2. Use a database feed to populate the email address from the Archer database.
a. Create a Calculated Text Field to get the User id from the record permission field. Example: [Manual RP] b. Create a Database Query Transporter feed. Use the attached Datafeed: DF_To_Populate_Email_via_DQTF.dfx5 c. Map the fields and run the feed.
3. Use the lookup translation in Archer to Archer Data feed.
a. In the application where you have the Record Permission field, create a text field(Name) to hold the username in this format First Name Last Name. For Example: John Smith b. Create a report in the test application. With the tracking id and the text field(Name) created in the previous step. c. Create an Archer to Archer Data feed targeting the test application. d. Load Source fields in the Source Definition tab. e. Use lookup translation on Name Field. Image description f. Map this Name field to the Email Address field in the test application. Refer to the attached data feed named: Using_Lookup_Translation.dfx5. g. Run the data feed and note that the feed matches the Name field in the test app with Name(Full) in the Contacts application and takes the Translation Value which is Email(Business) and updates the Email Address field in the test app.
