NOTICE: Aug. 25-28 Maintenance for RSA Archer License Activation Service and RSA Download Central
IMPACT: Customers planning an RSA Archer install/upgrade 8/25-8/27
Dear RSA Archer customer,
Please be advised that RSA will be performing maintenance for an infrastructure upgrade August 25 through August 28, during which time some RSA resources will be unavailable. This outage will primarily impact customers who are planning an RSA Archer installation or upgrade during this period. This infrastructure upgrade is scheduled to begin at 12:00pm Eastern Time on Friday, August 25, 2017. All services will be restored before 8:00am Eastern Time on Monday, August 28, 2017. We ask that you consider rescheduling your RSA Archer installation or upgrade for a later date.
If you must complete an installation or upgrade this weekend, before 12:00pm Eastern Time on August 25 you will need to:
Download any installers needed
Retrieve the manual license response from the activation server (see instructions below)

In the RSA Archer Activation Center (web browser), paste the Token copied in step 2 in the first field provided. Labeled: Paste your RSA Archer Request Token into the field below and then click Submit Activation Request button
Click the Submit Activation Request
Click into the second field (labeled: Copy your RSA Archer License Key text from the field below.
Right-click and choose Select All (or <Ctrl+A>)
Right-click and choose Copy (or <Ctrl+C>)
In Notepad: Paste the license key into Notepad or an appropriate text editor and save the response as a file.
After installation, to apply the License Key – in the Archer Control Panel:
Open the instance from the left-hand navigation menu.
Click the Update License Key button just below the tab to open the Licensing dialog box.
Provide the appropriate Serial Number and Contact Information.
In Activation Method, select Manual (Manually provide activation information).
In License Key field, paste in the contents of the license response that you saved in Step 11 above.
Note: This should be done from an Archer Control Panel of the appropriate version for your license key: i.e., use a 6.2 control panel with a 6.1+ license key to generate the Activation Request Token.
