Can't Update Profile Email Address

Jump to solution

I'm a Legacy EMC employee that just migrated to the Dell Domain, and I would like to associated my profile to my new Dell email address.

How do I do this?

Jonathan Scher‌,

For employees RSA Link uses our corporate authentication (i.e. CORP AD) so it defaults to your primary email address. (e.g. @emc.com for Legacy EMC, @rsa.com for RSA, @dell.com for Legacy Dell, etc.)

If you wanted that changed you would need to contact Dell IT Services and request that your primary email address be changed to @dell.com.

That being said, since employees don't use their email address as their username as other RSA Link users do, it shouldn't really be an issue.

Additionally, the email address on your profile is, by default, hidden except to you, so it will only display your email address if you want it to be seen by others.

Regards,

Erica

Thanks Erica! I wasn't sure if this change to my account was going to affect authentication to the Community . Thanks for the confirmation
