A "Service Unavailable - DNS failure" message is displayed when attempting to view a page on RSA Link

Issue

When attempting to visit the RSA Link website I am only seeing a simple error message page similar to the example below.
Service Unavailable - DNS failure
The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again later.

Cause

This error message indicates a service interruption on the Khoros JX (formerly Jive-x Cloud) platform on which RSA Link is built. It is experienced on very rare occasions during platform maintenance events and should last no more than a few minutes.

Workaround

If you experience this issue, wait a few minutes and try to access the page again.

If you continue to see the error after five minutes or more have passed, the following options are available:
  • Check the Khoros Status Page, particularly under the JX Communities section, for any scheduled maintenance and/or service interruption messages.
