RSA employee is unable to log in to RSA Link using their email address

Article Number

000035936

Applies To

RSA and Dell Employees

Issue

When attempting to log in to RSA Link using their corporate email address as the username, RSA and Dell employees are receiving the error message below.

Authentication Error
Your logon information is incorrect. Correct your logon information and try again, or contact the help desk or your administrator.

Image descriptionImage description

Cause

This issue occurs because, although RSA customers and partners use their corporate email address as their username for logging in, RSA and Dell employees must use their CORP ID to do so.

Resolution

Log in to RSA Link using your corporate credentials (with your CORP ID as the username) and you will be able to log in successfully.

Notes

If you continue to receive the error message after using your corporate credentials and are certain that the correct password is being provided, then this indicates that you have likely not yet registered for an RSA Link and will need to do so by visiting https://community.rsa.com/register and enrolling with your corporate email address.

RSA employees should use their @rsa.com address or their legacy EMC address (@emc.com) to register rather than their @dell.com address.

For step-by-step registration instructions please refer to How to Register for an RSA Link Account.
