A user tries to create a new rule, or edit an existing rule, in the Policy Manager and sees no problem until she hits the Review button at the end of editing. On one of the financial institutions (FI) in a region, nothing happens. She is able to create rules successfully in the other FIs of the region. One thing she notices under Add New Rule, is that there are templates for rules. One is labeled Adaptive Authentication Template and the other New Account Protection Template. In other FIs in the region there is only a blank template.
The reason for this is that this FI is accidentally configured to have the New Account protection function set.
To resolve this issue, do a FI load in Update mode for the problem FI with the New Account Protection functionality (Column R in the version 101 FI Config sheet) set to No.
